Welp, I came back to Springfield for Thanksgiving. Yesterday I left Charlotte around 2:30pm and rolled into Springfield totally exhausted around 3:00am.
Perks so far from being home:
- For the first time in 2 months I slept in a bed - which happens to be the most comfortable bed in the whole world and I don't think i'm lying.
- Breakfast and coffee w. family. The real deal: eggs, bacon, toast, and hashbrowns. yum.
- "Operazzi" What's Operazzi you ask? Well, let me tell you cuz it was new to me too. It's a friend of mine's newest undertaking. She decided that Springfield needed an outlet for all of the Opera fans/singers in the area (i know strange huh?) and made a night to put on anyone's to do list. The club meets @ a Italian resturant downtown twice a month and sings Opera in front of eachother. I loved it. Don't worry I didn't sing opera either.
- A current fire in the fireplace. And it's real.

I'm praying that while I'm home I can truly be in prayer while away from the routine of the prayer room. He lives inside us you know? why not?

Dude, I didn't even know you left! Lose the prayer room and I lose all sense of what's going on... I miss your face as well! I say we have another hang out night as soon as you get back - I liked the feeling of having friends! :-) It's definitely weird around here this week... But the Lord is so gracious! Have a fabulous time in Springfield!! Love Ya!!
We do miss you, no doubt about it!
