Not gonna lie - blogging has been low on my priority list lately. Here's a rough sketch of where it fits on my list:
1. Maintaining a prayer life / inner life with God
2. "Building the House of Prayer" (really this is admin- but admin sounds so dull - thus I affectionately call it BTHOF)
3. Talking with fam on the phone / maintaining relationships (gotta keep in touch)
4. sleeping.
5. eating.
6. me time (insert blogging here)
However, me time is exploding out with a new post tonight. (watch out) I couldn't go without putting my thoughts down on tonights "girly burger night."
For those of you unaware, "girly burger night" is a new tradition that Jenn McArthur, Corrine, Genevra, Erica, and i started about a month ago involving simply what the name emplys: girls and burgers. Sorta like our answer to gun club except it meets at a decent time and is chick friendly.
So tonight we went to TGI Fridays and had one of the more awkward waitresses I have ever seen (and I've had some under-par waitresses too). You know when you go out to eat, you expect the time to be full of good food and good fun, and then somehow the waitress who drops/forgets things blows everything for your evening - and you walk away dissatisfied?
Well, I do.
Though I didn't get any food thrown on me or anything, the waitress was beyond awkward. Anyway, we broke through with signs and wonders and had some good conversation and hopefully Jenn and Corrine are at home right now enjoying their cheesecake. :)
Love you girls.
