So this picture has to go first because it's such a typical 7Thunders pose. This is waiting at the Tornoto airport (by the way my favorite airport so far) for a minute. I was excited so I snapped a picture.
On our way to the church retreat we got to drive through Toronto's downtown. I wish we could have had more time to see it - maybe next time. But this is the famous "CN" building. I think this picture is fun because I got the Canadian flag with it.
Skyline from the highway while caught in massive traffic. I thought the east coast was bad...
Some of the Toronto Skyline again
Okay so during the retreat we were asked to sing over the children. We decided to take the opportunity and bust out "I don't want to be a sheep..." Needless to say I got some great pictures of everyone (except for me of course because well...yeah) and laughed so hard while watching everyone do the motions. I believe this is the part in the song that says "I don't want to be a sheep...bah bah...I don't want to be a sheep...bah bah...." Yes, that's it.
A view from the stage
O my friend Kenny. And me with my mouth open of course.
Emily, Katie, and I during some sweet time on Friday morning that we got just to sit and relax. I took the time and read some Bible and talked with Emily and Katie. It was beautiful outside and we played with Deeogie. (DOG)
Emily and I in the van. my face looks funny.
One of my new friends Audrey. She sang with us during worship over the weekend. I hope one day she comes to ZHOP.
This is the family that we stayed with plus the amazing the pastor of the church. The main church we were with while in Toronto was all Asian and I looooved them all. They were great people and so fun to be around.
Since we were in the Asian culture while in Toronto (which by the way is a huge population in Toronto - I thought everything was going to be written in French but came to find everything is written in Chinese) we ended up eating a lot of good Asian food. This is the Korean BBQ. With Korean BBQ you order the meat you want and they bring it to you raw. Then you cook it at your own table as much (or as little in some cases) as you want. It was really really good. Wish we had these in the States.
Kenny and Katie eating yum Korean BBQ - funny faces "Aye"?
Beautiful Beautiful Zion. (WE MISS YOU!)
