these are a few of my favorite things

Today I was thinking of fun things to do tonight and I started listing them on a sticky note. Then I realized I was just starting to write down the things that I like to do in general, on my time off here in Charlotte and some things I've just enjoyed in the past...

Naturally, thought this would be good to share (in no paticular order):
1. Going to Earth Fare to grab a P&J smoothie. While there snacking on the samples around the store and looking at all the different food. For some reason I love walking around healthy grocery stores.
2. The pool + good magazines + my ipod + an occasional text message = good time.
3. Going to Dillworth Coffee House (because it's cute, the music is good there, and it's in a beautiful neighborhood) and working on an WinnieMonthly
4. Walking to a favorite spot, or a familar route through a familar neighborhood. I think it's peaceful to know where you are going and to try and notice new things.
5. Hanging out with Katie and Kenny. Though we don't do much but hang on my couches watching something - this week it was Fiddler on the Roof - it's become some of my favorite times here.
6. Going to Barnes and Noble or Borders and listening to different CD's until I find the one that best fits my mood. Then of course I buy it. I've found some great bands this way.
7. Playing my guitar with the door shut and no one to listen but God.
8. Target.
9. Driving around with no where to go. (music up and windows rolled down please)
10. Finding good pizza. I think good pizza is my favorite food. And by good I don't mean Papa John's or Domino's.
11. Finding any place alive with culture and art...Just walking around in it makes me light up.
12. Watching So You Think You Can Dance, LOST, or 24 (not so much 24 though because Jack let me down last season)
13. Making a mix CD and scanning Itunes for the latest and greatest.
14. Reading a good book - though I haven't done this for awhile...hum...this should happen soon.
15. Bike rides. Preferably through old neighborhoods with beautiful houses and big trees.
16. Painting.
17. Watching a good indie movie.

Any of these on your list? What are some of your favorite things to do?

I enjoy a lot of those things but the thing I've been craving the most is Target. Since there aren't any in Canada I only get to go 3 or 4 times a year. But tomorrow is my lucky day because Lucas' parents are in town and we are going down to Bellingham, WA and I'm going to Target! :)

yes of course - additions:
- beautiful mountains and hiking
- talking on the phone to mitch and likewise checking her Etsy account to see if she has sold anything.
