what this way comes?

i think God designed us with the innate desire to know how future events will unfold in our lives (and of course beyond our own lives and in a more corporate sense), and yet typically He keeps so tight lipped when we ask Him what's coming around the cosmic corners of our lives. I wish that weren't the case. I know He's God and His equivialent knowledge compared to mine is as an ameba is to a 90 year old ex-president or something, but still it would be nice to know.

Throw me a bone? I'm holding a big bum sign that says "Will pray for revelation!"

Okay maybe not...slience still ensues.

I think the whole idea of it is that we really need to try and figure out our own path. If the answers were so easy to come by, we would all seek out the entirety of our lives by the time we are 20. Then what future does that leave us?

If we had a map showing us all the things to come, we wouldnt get the excitment of meeting NEW people, and finding a random blog from someone interesting. We would just follow the map, without any excitment of what lies ahead.

I personally think that not knowing, is the only way to actually LIVE. You have to set out to make a name for yourself and to explore everything you can in order to find the right path in which you should be heading.
