just writing to write

Gees it's been awhile since I wrote anything and I can't think of anything important to write...
I've had the privilege this week of having a good friend in town staying with me at the house - and we have been laughing so much and so hard that my sides ache. this is good. achy sides due to laughing i mean.
And truly it's nice to have someone around during the evenings. This is going to be a seemingly sad statement - however it's really not meant to be - but I'm almost unaccustomed to having people in my presence around dinner time. And not having people around means no cooking, no fun, really. Tonight I actually made the best omelette I have ever made for dinner. All of this to say, it's nice to not only have a friend around but a new roomate as well.

So, on a more information-on-my-life note, I'm still waiting on the Lord and asking Him for direction for those of you that read my "time machine" post. He proves to be good even in the midst of silence and waiting.
