hello...is anyone out there?

Sometimes you gotta wonder...is anyone really reading this?
I care, but honestly I think I have blog more for myself than I do for others. Which poses me some questions for you out there:
What do you think - Do you blog for you, or to keep those around you updated on what is going on in your head?
And another question - Have you frequently kept up with writing by a journal or felt inclined to do so, or have you just started by blogging in the cyber world?
For me, I've been filling up journals since I was in late grade school.

I am reading your blog and I know with moving away you feel like asking "does anyone care...because I do". I know I felt away from everyone when we moved here. But I think the blog is a good thing. Sometimes I talk to people who I didn't know even knew I had a blog and they tell me how they read it and stuff. That makes it somewhat worth it. However, I still keep a journal for deeper things but I blog more than I journal. That turned out to be randomly long. :)

Me too! Please don't stop writing. I love to hear what's going on in the ZHOP sphere of the world.

I'm definitely not reading your blog. Who made up the word blog anyway?

It derives from the word "weblog" which infers that you have a log on the web. Blog is a shorter, cooler way of saying Weblog. Get it?

Your blog sets the standard! Do you realize what a hole there would be in the internet if you did not blog again? It would, possibly, collapse. The internet, that is.

Oh, and yeah I've been journaling since about 1990. Caryn keeps my old ones from back when, thinks they might back a good doorstop some day.

I've been blogging for about 3 years (just a minute compared to Andy "e-Daniel Webster" Hailstone) but have been talking with the guy hosting my site (its presently down, but hopefully you already knew that) about sending me the entries from the last 3 years and my possibly taking a little break from blogging.

I READ! I READ! (I just don't blog that much anymore. To hard when the only access to internet is at work. I just don't feel inspired when I'm working!)
