"synergy"

Synergy: It's not a bad word. It doesn't mean anything wrong. So why does the word give me the creepos? Your guess is as good as mine. I've seen the word "synergy" twice today and heard someone use it in a sentence. here's the definition:
syn.er.gy
syn.er.gism
noun: the interaction or cooperation of two or more organizations, substances, or other agents to produce a combined effect greater than the sum of their separate effects: the synergy between artist and a record company.

In lamens terms, it means working together. Working together isn't creepy. so what's my problem? Humm...
