Staying at ZHOP has been amazing. Loving every friend-filled moment. (and the coffee too)
There's a conference going on this weekend. It's reminding me how little I know God...In a good way...in the way that makes you step back and realize who He really has called you to be. And how He really has asked that we give our lives to Him ENTIRELY. Not just a little bit...but all of it. Not just a part, but the sum of the parts.
I feel like I'm sitting at a table and eating spoonfuls of the fear of the Lord over the complacency in my heart. I liken it to eating a pickle. The first time I ate a pickle I had to decide if this was a taste I enjoyed or completely despised - I decided after some deliberation that I indeed enjoyed the taste of a pickle. The same holds true here.
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom...
pickle [verb trans]: immerse in an acid or other chemical solution for cleaning.
